We won the international IBM Hackathon 2017
From October 23 to 24, 2017, we participated in a hackathon organized by IBM Slovakia at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava . This event was attended by 2 to 5 member teams from around the world. During it, they had the opportunity to work on their idea for 24 hours. The teams could compete in the main category “Best project”, for which they could win € 5,000. In addition, teams that used at least one IBM Bluemix or IBM Watson AI service could compete in the “Best Use of IBM Technology” category. In this category, a prize of 3000 EUR was awarded.
The IKS team consisting of Erik Kajáti, Jozef Mocnej, Martin Miškuf and Peter Papcun worked without a break on the idea of CHECkuP – Cognitive HEalthCare Platform. With this project, they managed to win the “Best Project” category in tough competition.
They came to Bratislava by car from Košice, then programmed, presented and won for 24 hours – by the IKS team.
